Great power supply

Really like this psu, so much so I have two of them!
It's small footprint and light weight mean it's ideal to take away on holiday. And it's also great for the shack as it doesn't take much space. The fan on it is quiet and although it is a switch mode psu I have never found any noise from it on the bands.
I also like that you can adjust the preset voltage to your requirements. For example I run it at 14v rather than the standard 13.8v for my particular situation.
Just a great bit of kit.

Tried and tested workhorse of power supplies

I've been using the high end Alinco brand power supplies for many years.
As a failed power supply (or one upset by SSB/ RF) can cost you a lot in rig repairs I think this is a sensible investment.
With these you know Alinco ( A HF /VHF and UHF tranceiver manufacturer themselves) have given the design what it needs to perform without problem in this role.
The one I just bought is replacing a similar older version that for prudence has been retired to lighter duties after about 10 years of running continuously and faultlessly. (Which works out as 'not a lot' per trouble free hour !)
