Nice entry to 4m band
Review by

Well-built unit.
Took straight out on a SOTA activation on other bands to see if the stock antenna would pick anything up - just a few crackles.
Please re-stock a portable antenna upgrade!!
I am pretty sure demand would come with at least some supply.
In the meantime I’ll be trying out the mobile antenna with mag mount I bought with the HT - again nice quality made item and I am sure I’ll get some hits with that.
But really want that portable upgrade for SOTA to be able to reach all those base stations operating on the band!!
Thanks Moonraker.

Excellent 4m backpack radio for hilltops
Review by
NikTheGeek
No need to programme this radio at all. Just simply put it in VFO mode and tune to 70.450. That's it. If you need to QSY up and down a channel, just change to the correct frequency. As long as you remember the calling channel is .450, you don't need anything else it's as simple as it gets! The helical antenna could be better, but that's the nature of this type of radio.
