Came as described with everything pre programmed. Easy to copy the settings and add or delete frequencies as you wish. Only negative I have had is lowish audio on tx. Good value for this radio.

Amazing price for what you get, screen is really bright, rig is easy to use, microphone and speaker great. Its a bit slower than your japenese rigs at scanning but one of the faster ones outside of that. As others have said it gets hot running at 25w but 5 or 10w has been plenty for me. So tiny and portable too. Recommend

Ive just recently passed my amateur radio foundation exam! As a new license holder I wanted to select a good starter radio. This radio comes pre-programmed with loads of repeaters throughout the UK and is an excellent choice for ease of use. This allows you to begin making contacts quickly and focus on learning operating procedures. I also purchased a mini antenna and magmount which really does pack a punch in getting your signal out there. Audio is crystal clear and great signal reports from other amatuer radio operators.
