I have been looking for 300 Ohm ribbon rated at 1KW, due to the licence change, all adds were saying 400 Watt, now advertised at 1KW, I can not see any difference between 400 Watt rating and 1KW rating, the thickness of the strands look the same. so on a matched 300 ohm system 1KW RF there 1.35 A flowing, but it will be driven from 50 ohm sourced through an AMU, to a non-resonant dipole, the current and voltages peaks could be anywhere along the lead, so you will need to be careful. Is this any different to old 400 Watt version the advert needs to make this clear!
