Putting these plugs on is a bit of a pain especially compared to others of the same type.
Unlike other plugs, the center pin does not have a hole in the side into which you can flow solder. I found it easiest to put the core of the coax into the pin 75% the way and use the gap between the dielectric and the pin to flow solder, quickly pushing the core in all the way.
The ring that goes deepest into the connector, the one with the lip, is what you need to trim the braid to and fold over.
Definitely don't overtighten, the threads aren't delicate but will not appreciate being forced.
