Great antenna tuner
Review by

Really useful addition to the shack. Matches my FT847 to my 40m loft dipole on most bands. Good contacts as a result. Seems to be very well made and durable. Particularly like the band switch which makes setup easy. Thanks to Moonraker for the usual excellent service.

Perfect Tuner
Review by

Very impressed with the tuning range, I managed to tune my 20m Dipole (10m Physical length) into every band, from 1.8 MHZ right through to 56 MHZ, easy to use, the first manual tuner I have ever used and it was very straight forward to use.
One thing I would say, is that when you connect the power supply to the lamp, ensure the polarity is correct, the lamp is LED and it will only work with the correct polarity, if you find that the lamp doesn't work, try swapping the wires round.
Its amazing, you can switch between two two different antenna's, as well as having a connection for long wire and an earth, when you don't need the tuner, you can switch it off by the switch on the front panel and just use the S.W.R meter without the antenna tuner function. nice colourful dual needle display. Do remember to disable any integrated automatic antenna tuners on your transceiver before attempting to use the comet as they will clash.
