I purchased this after seeing a demonstration on YouTube erecting the antenna in under 1 minute! I've since seen this used with a ground spike and used on the beach
I took the bb7v on holiday and put it on a tripod just outside the mobile home, it's so easy to put up and the performance on tx and rx is very good indeed, my only gripe is the £350 price tag however it is a diamond antenna made in japan.

It's an excellent portable vertical. It is a higher price than others but works without radials, which was my primary consideration. Good compromise Antenna for those with limited space.and mobile in the car park up somewhere
It is not as well made vertically as I expected from Diamond Antenna.
. It is straightforward to assemble, but the bottom two Telescopic sections did not want to click into place on the one I got. The bottom two collars moved slightly, and it took me some time to get back in place. I think Diamond should look into this to prevent it from happening again. The
The connecting cable (M27006) should be waterproof, not just left the way you get it in the box. I have waterproofed this one
It does what it says it will do. The antenna is very light for its size. You can easily lift it with one hand. Add an antenna analyser (ATU) to get good SWR across 2 MHz to 30 MHz.
