After fitting the aerial I was amazed at the distance it was receiving the transmission from. I live 100 miles away from most air bases and it picked up transmissions from them very clearly.

Great antenna for price. Getting 1/2 S points increase over my wideband co linear. Very good build quality. Exceptional receive in the UHF band.
I would recommend this antenna if you listen mainly Airband this antenna does provide coverage out of these bands but would suggest a general receive antenna if you monitor other bands also.
