Variable 30A power supply featuring excellent technical data: The GSV-3000 has 30A continuous rating at 100% duty cycle, the DC output range is adjustable from 1 to 15 Volt with a maximum of 3 mVpp ripple. Selectable monitoring of voltage and current with large meter. Automatic current overload protection as well as protection against short-circuit and reverse polarization, automatic internal cooling fan. Voltage-out quick connect or binding posts as well as cigar lighter socket built-in. No RF hash and consequently usable for shortwave and V/UHF transceivers without any interference problems.

Good, but has some issues.

The power lead supplied is for a European country and so the plug will need cutting off and replacing with a UK 3-pin.
The two screw terminals have captured nuts so using ring terminals on your DC lines is not an option. In addition the studs are not drilled to accept a stripped wire connection.

Great supply but no overvoltage

I bought this supply and was pleased with the delivery. First problem was the fixed French mains plug which Moonraker solved with an adapter. Second was the overvoltage protection turns out to be an option which was found not to be fitted on my model when Moonraker applied to Diamond. Great support from Moonraker. Very quick and clear responses. So now I’m hunting for a supply with the option fitted.
