Bottom line ... the product enabled me to operate in the house during the cold weather rather than my cold shack.
The cable feeds through between the opening double glazed window and its surround with a PL259 on each end. I've used self amalgamating tape on the exterior connection as neither end is weatherproof. It has survived one storm so far.
The aerial I'm using is a delta loop with good swr readings, so hopefully this isn't taxing the feed-through cable. How it would cope with an ill-matched high swr feed, I haven't tried.
In the few weeks it's been in use, although the cable is rated at 150W, I've worked 3 continents using 50W of ssb on four different bands - I'm happy with that.
The instruction sheet is in Chinglish - easy to follow but, honestly, for the price, a translated version in the King's English ought to have been included.
But, to repeat, it's made the difference between no operating radio in a cold shack to comfortable operation in a warm house!
