Allows me to work the ISS with a handheld radio
Review by
Philip G0ISW
I have been digipeating APRS AX.25 via the International Space Station (ISS) from home using a mobile radio, beam and 25 watts. I recently bought an AnyTone AT-D878UV+ handheld and with its supplied aerial had been unable to do the same. I purchased the Diamond RH-770 2m/70cm Supergainer telescopic antenna to use on my handheld instead and was able to work the ISS straight away on my first attempt. Very impressed with its performance and small size when telescoped down. Will also be great for SOTA use too.
