really good on airband and most VHF frequencies. Slightly top heavy, in that, if you have the antenna bend at 90 degrees with the receiver flat on a table, the antenna that is pointing up vertically can easily swing around and fall flat. But its generally picked up some great signals on my TRX-1, and a great addition to the stock receiving antenna on this device.
