4 Element 2m Budget beam.

Wanted a cheap beam to test my SSB capabilities using an old IC290e I am currently using a Yaesu Ft818nd and swap between the Icom results have surprised me with both radios. The beam was bolted together I removed the beehive cap and replaced with a turned stub of coax. SWR 1.1.1 across the 2m band will also be usable on 70cm swr 1.4.1 made my 1st ssb contact in vertical polarity. Very pleased with the quality for under £40 it’s proven a good investment. More testing on my part required but overall pleased I have the option to experiment with a vertical and beam antenna.
