Got this to try some Radio Astronmy and meteor reflections from GB3MBA on 50.408 works better than expected. Set each element to 1300mm, but not used for TX. Some weather proofing is needed if out side in bad weather.

Easy to use on 6 or 4m

Purchased to get started at a new QTH on 6 and 4 metres. Length adjustment is quick but needs to be done with the aerial mounted as far as possible from the ground, metal fences etc. Be prepared to readjust after checking with an aerial analyser or vswr meter in final mounting position. For long term use, tape or sleeving is needed where the inner and outer rods meet to avoid rain water entry. My figures for each element are 40.25 inches for 70.2 and 55.25 inches for 50.15 Mhz. The aerial is mounted horizontally 4 metres above ground. I hope this helps. 73 de Steve

Easy to put together, just like the dipoles from the 80's for CB. SWR was 1.2 over the complete band even when mounted on a metal pole.

Wasn't sure how much activity there would be on the 4m band so didn't want to spend a lot of money on an antenna, this has been up on a mast attached to the gable end of my house for around 6 years, solid performance, no issues. Easy to assemble and use.
