Its ok not the best but will get you on the air as long as the repeater is close, or very local simplex. For a couple of pounds more I'd buy a diamond x30, its far better than this .I have both and had the side by side for comparison, its not as good buy quite alot,x30 can simplex 30 miles over easily, this i can't be heard over same distance and same contact. If you have space outside or in the loft for this you have space for the x30 as there similar in size .BUY AN X30

Cracking Antenna

This Dipole surprised me! I was able to get into a repeater over 30 miles away on this with a Baofeng uv5 mounted Vertically. I couldnt hit anything with other antenna until I got this and boom! 2m suddenly opened up. A cracking little antenna that takes virtually no space and does what it's supposed to. Does what it says on the tin! Dont be put off by its small size and looks, it does the job no problems.
