I have used the WILSON 5000 with MAGNETIC BASE for about 6 years. I have D.Xed since 1974. In my opinion you CANNOT find a better antenna for 11 mtrs MOBILE S.S.B use. I WAS a K40 freak back in the early days, my WILSON 5000 has knocked spots off the "K-40". Since using this WILSON 5000 antenna for about 6 years, I have contacted 291 DXCC WORLDWIDE . O.K I ALWAYS transmit from SNOWDON MOUNTAIN, N.W COAST of WALES {only 10 min drive from my home} But I guess HEIGHT IS MIGHT. .With this antenna YOU would NOT wish for ANY OTHER. Purchase it with ABSOLUTE CONFIDENCE !! KENNY.
