The BM-17 is a lightweight, portable headset designed for amateur radio operators. Featuring a newly redesigned swivel boom arm, it allows flexible microphone positioning on either the left or right side. Available in single- or dual-ear versions, it comes in black with Heil branding.

The headset offers a choice of dynamic or iC electret microphone elements to suit different radio setups. Its sensitive speakers deliver clear audio with minimal drive, while replaceable acoustic foam ear pads ensure comfort. The durable headband includes an adjustable steel core for a custom fit.

With standard 1/8” audio connections and compatibility with Heil adapter systems, the BM-17 easily integrates with a wide range of transceivers, making it a versatile and practical communication headset.

The BM-17 Dynamic headset features the BM-D dynamic microphone element, purpose-built for clear and reliable ham radio communication. With a 600-ohm impedance, it is compatible with most amateur radio transceivers—such as Kenwood and Yaesu models—that require low-impedance inputs. It delivers solid audio performance across a frequency range of 120 Hz to 10 kHz.
