The Gold Elite Vintage. It is a unique, innovative microphone renowned for its gorgeous audio production. It’s crystal clear response made it an instant best-seller, and it is the microphone of choice in thousands of Ham shacks around the world today.
It has been designed for full-range articulate SSB audio, specifically when used with a high impedance input, usually tube type vintage equipment (Collins, Central Electronics, Hallicrafters, etc.)
The Vintage model includes a PTT switch and is fitted with a 4-pin XLR connector compatible with the Heil CC-1 Series of adapter cables.
The ‘soft touch’ PTT switch is wired to pins 3 and 4 for transmit control. The microphone audio is fed to pins 1 (shield) and 2 of the four pin XLR.
The GE V is not for use with iCOM rigs.
