It's a good radio and it's very easy to program on the airband and as well on the ham bands as well if you like airplane like me

Very pleased with the Icom IC-R15, well made, nice weight to the unit, not too heavy in the hand but with a quality solid feel. The user interface is excellent and easy to learn, display is crisp and clear and of a good size. Super fast scanning with clear audio performance. I got the software to get it programmed quickly, works well and easy to use. Best way of describing the unit is it’s up to date, polished and works very well. Have a couple of trips to LFA17 and LAF7 this year so it will be a great upgrade for me.
