The Jopix CB-514 with Car Kit can be used as mobile transceiver in a car, van, 4×4 or truck thanks to the suplied 12V car cigarette lighter plug adapter with connection for external antenna and the cap that protects the portable antenna connector.

Jopix CB-514 can also be used as a portable thanks to its 25 cm BNC antenna.

It is a european multinorm standard portable CB radio, which means it can operate on several frequency bands used in different countries in Europe. The Jopix CB-514 have a noise reduction circuit (NRC) that helps improve the quality of the received sound.

Great little radio , well worth the money with all the extra bits that came with it

Great Buy even for someone in the US

After being an avid CB user in the late 1970s, my attention moved to amatuer radio and I lost all interest in CB. I was recently planning a very long trip and wanted a CB just in case. I didn't want to spend a lot and didn't plan to mount it in my vehicle but I did want FM and AM capability as FM is now allowed in the US. I used the CB-514 with a mag mount antenna on my car and remote a mic/speaker. I hid the radio in the center council and it worked great. Only problem was the mobile kit was not available when I ordered. I really wished I had it.

As a licensed radio amateur for forty years ,I thought that I would give CB a trial. I purchased the handheld plus car kit from Moonraker.
It is well made and easy to set up, the car kit giving power from the cigarette lighter socket and connection to my CB whip on the car roof whilst stationary.
I am now waiting for a speaker/mike attachment again from Moonraker.
