A good mast with a few quirks

Bought this mast for temporary use at home for a 2m beam. The second time I put my zl special on it after using a diamond antenna I noticed the top 2 sections bending slightly and that's with the top section only extended to hold the bracket. I think the zl at around 2.5 ish kg is a bit too heavy for it so will be using a 5 or 10 element diamond. Another problem was screwing one of the locking nut up pulled the collar out trying to glue it back in with super glue was a nightmare next time I will use araldite so don't overtighten the screws my mate had the same problem . And one other problem was one of the green markers rubbed off so it was only the red marker that stopped me pulling a section right out a green marker pen fixed that. A good mast I'm happy with it now as long as you careful extending it and don't overload it.

I bought one for /P working. Fitted to my trailer. One slight snag where one of the top plastic caps was cracked so I couldn't tighten the top section (Hence only 4 stars). I quick phone call to the shop and they sent out a spares kit!

26 foot mast

Good product, especially when considering the price. Locking screws need a bit of smoothing out on the ends where they grip the mast sections. Have used it with a 10m Moxon at full extension with no problems. Would recommend.

The LMA-M 26ft Portable Telescopic Mast is of very good quality. It only takes minutes to erect. I've had it upto 24ft with an 18ft antenna on top with no problems.
