Really prompt delivery. The antenna is really well built, and will compliment the GRA-ULT01 MK3 tripod that I bought to work with this antenna.

Received this antenna a few weeks ago to take on trips for weekends. Turns out it is very easy to use and set up. the first night I had it I tuned to 10 meters and ended up in a long QSO with a guy several towns south of me. Said I was 599 as he was.
I later put it on 20 meters by adjusting the graph to where the paper graph said to put it and found it almost 1:1. got on CW and made several qso's with people who were suprised to hear that I was using this antenna and where di dI get it? Told them they get one also and have lots of fun.
The antenna will be going to NYC with me in a few weeks and also the KX2 to try from the hotel room. For a counterpoise I use a tape measure which I have marked for the different bands. Seems to work great for me and I will be taking to to our summer house on Marthas Vineyard this year for lots of fun.

This is a fantastic mobile antenna. I can work America on this from the UK with no trouble when conditions allow. It is slightly fiddly to set up The first time. But once you have marked with a marker pen the different positions on the Coil for the different bands. The next time you use it it is easy and no analyser is required.

Mobile Multiband HF Antenna
I purchased this antenna a few months ago from Moonraker to work HF from mobile locations as I am not able to put an antenna at home. I did connect it to an antenna analizer I have wanting to see what SWR readings I could get so that when the antenna was connected to the ATU and the rdio I had a good starting point to match the antenna on the frquancy I planned to work that day. To be hone this antenna has got to be 1 of the best Multiband mobile HF antenna's out there and I have tried a few in the last 12 months with some of the plug/jumper type having to plug a cable into a different hole/jumper every time you want to change frequancy not even getting close on the swr. But this antenna was no problem. I managed to get all these reading without an atu 40m 1:1.4 - 20m 1:1.3 - 6m 1:11 but I did connet to an atu for fine tuning.

Works really well

First impressions was disapointment that it did not have a telescopic whip like stated in the spec, it has a stainless whip that is 77cm long so makes it no good for a ruck sack to go portable, which is why I bought it, when you take the whip out the screws eventually work there way out or in either way they get lost. Now for the good bit. I took the whip out in my camper and set it up with a mag mount and my FT818 6watts max. I had over 30 contacts on HF bands in 2 hrs.Wow it really does work. Also some contacts on 2m but swr not as good as hf.. Shame about the long whip. But works well.

A good compromise

I purchased this not for mobile but, for compact portable working. I was intrigued with the tapped coal arrangement for multiband use.
I made a bracket to fit my camera tripod and added a counterpoise. on the analyser,, all bands from 7 to 50mhz would tune to a workable level.
I heard a strong station on 20 metres and after failing to make contact on the whizzloop, swithed to this one and made the contact on the first try with 5w.
It will always be a compromise but, if its all you can put up, its a lot cheaper than the mp1 and you can still use it mobile.
Only downside, i don't think the pastic tape that indicates the measurement will not last long. I used a small length of wood to mark the measurements to tune it an the bands i wanted.
It makes a good portable antenna. may even modify it to work from a backpack.
