Description / MOONRAKER LW-40 (160-6M) Multiband Long Wire Antenna
The Moonraker LW-40 is a long wire antenna incorporating a 9:1 UNUN at the feed point enabling it to be fed directly with 50 ohm coaxial cable.
At 40.56m in length this antenna is capable of operating on all HF bands from 160m (1.8Mhz) upwards via an external ATU.
It may be mounted straight, as an inverted vee or sloper. It may also be bent or dog-legged to fit in available garden space.
It will handle up to 400W CW or 500W PEP.

I operated in the ARRL International DX CW contest recently where the rest of the world (DX) can only work W/VE. I wasn't sure if W/VE stations would hear me. In actual fact I went on to work 749 QSO's, 48 States & Provinces and 148 Mult's and I ended up running pile-ups on 15m so I think this antenna is awesome. Its at an average height here of 28ft.
