Bought this to replace a cx-4-68 that broke in the first 6 weeks up in the air, top heavy snapped clean off. the construction seems ok but the tuning is way off, swr on 70.100 is 2.2 it drops to 1.8 on 70.490 aerial was cut too short by the factory and there is no way to fix this.

Very good neat small antenna

Installed this antenna a couple of weeks ago, but only 3 metres agl although my QTH is a good VHF site. SWR very good. Activity is lower than I had hoped on 70 Mhz, but yesterday I worked Spain via Sporadic E, with my 50 watts to this rather small antenna. It certainly works pretty well and I am looking forward to more contacts like this one!
