An excellent compromise

Antennas like this will always be something of a compromise. After all, for a resonant 40m dipole you'd expect c20m of wire! However, for something that resembles an opened out coat-hanger attached to a nifty tuning box, this has given good results so far and well earned a place in my /QRP kit!

I wanted a antenna that would be small easy to use in the caravan when I'm away as you can't always put out a long wire on caravan parks, having tried this at home fora week it soon became apparent this isn't it so I'm still looking and expermenting
