Moonraker went above and beyond with this per-amplifier. I am more than impressed. I matched this to an external dis-cone and am now pulling in..I Sh=t you Not.. Digital vhf p25 systems from all surrounding counties with one in particular extremely difficult to lock onto (all of the time without signal garbling ) in normal conditions, now with excellent results.
This is a great product. It pulls in analog siginals with ease and very surprisingly adds to my setup an extra 40 miles omni. of digital DMR and P25i/ii signal's. I am ULTRA IMPRESSED!! EXCELLENT PRODUCT.
I also notice better results when matched to my 12.0 V DC adapter over the 15.0 VDC I also occasionally use.

I bought this to increase my scanning range of Marine band on my Uniden scanner. Works perfectly and I can now hear both sides, where previously due to QRM, I could only hear one.

It took a while to get here, but worth the wait.

It's a long way from the UK to Florida, but with a little patience the RF booster arrived and I put it to immediate use. Paired with my Bearcat scanner we located at our best train watching place. We received the locomotive call out clearly and in plenty of time to set up cameras. Excellent work. Thanks

This amp I highly recommend it's great brings in all the long distance stations if you are a scanner fanatic and want those long signals to listen to then the Moonraker is the way to go use to have a Jim pre amp the Moonraker beats it hands down

A really good preamp which has boosted the amount of broadcasts I can receive into my scanner with the added bonus of reducing the noise on the stronger signals I could already receive. Only complaint is it could do with a small LED to remind you to switch it off!
