the chrome finish really sets the look of the radio.qasethetics aside couple of nigglers that no one else seems to have mentioned.
1 microphone is a bit on the light weight side (weight inside would help)
2 the SWR protection cant be disabled (can be turned up but not off) which prevents my AUTO ATU from finding a tune ( the rapid switching of inductors and capacitors often triggers the swr protection which turns TXoff which stops ATU )
3 ToT time out timer isnt adjustable 3mins ... thats it so no long winded ragchewing lol

I couldn't asked for more they delivered on time it was fully expanded and very well packaged.
Some user's state that the radio is expensive but against the McKinley the value is well worth it a great performance with a lovely large clear display and easier to use than the McKinley and more features.
Yes you might be able to buy a used HF rig for the money but you run the risks of breakdowns and requiring servicing too.
