For a budget handheld, the build quality feels surprisingly solid and rugged in the hand. The display is bright and easy to read, even outdoors. The "Quadband" feature is a nice bonus at this price point, offering a lot of flexibility for monitoring different frequencies. The audio is loud and crisp, which is great for outdoor use. It’s not a £300 radio, but for the price, it punches well above its weight.
