If it were £920 instead of £999 after discount this unit would sell many more units as this product is very well made with lots of protection alarms. Follow the requirements for your SWR 1st on each band then if you turn the watts input down to 7 or 6 and purchase ( a purchased one ) and use a common mode choke and use it then you may be able to use this on 27Meg FM.
Moonraker packed this very well so no chance of damage.
Using much lower than max I can copy USA every night on 40metres, 20 and 17 metres which ever is open.
It plugs in the wall for power so has a stable supply with good earth on the mains supply side. Don’t get an RM DC amp as it’s worth it to save up for this one as this one is premier league compared to Sunday league if you get The type you need a psu for! I WOULD SAY GET THIS ONE AND GET ON IT LIKE A CAR BONNET!!

Compact Linear Amp

SWR protection, auto band switiching, no plating and loading little linear amplifier. With 8 watts drive the amp put out 250 watts PEP, 10 watts delivered closer to 400 watts PEP. I did not try the full stated 12 watts drive but obviously this little amp is capable of delivering more than is stated in the specs. Sensitive to SWR and tuning of ATU's but that is down to the inbuilt safeguards of the amp. Great compact linear amplifier for the money.

Nice amp, packet well, works well but takes a bit of getting used too. The only criticism is it comes with an EU plug so I had to cut off and wire up a UK one.
