If you expect this amp make you sound like those big radios on 38 LSB, 11, 6 and 28, you’ll be disappointed. But if you’re looking for the excitement of reaching coast to coast, and even 8,000 mile contacts on “low power output”, the KL60 is perfect. I run a QT-40 with a very good antenna and just today talked to stations in The Netherlands, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The KL60 is a tough little box as long as the don’t overdrive it.
