Wow works fine but it very noisy transformer hums and the fan sound like a jet engine other then that it works think I am going to find another room for it to go or should I return it as there’s no fault probably won’t be allowed

A very good PSU it has improved my listening a lot , the fan is a little noisy but only cutting in when needed, I prefer the noise to a unit going faulty due to overheating. Would recommend to anyone. Graham.

PSU arrived well boxed, fitted into the Comms Room nicely. It has reduced some of the QRM on the Bands and has plenty of power when running 100w HF SSB, 25 Watts Data Modes and 50 Watts 2Mtrs FM/SSB. Displays are clear to read and stable. Does not take up too much room either. A good investment.

nice electrically quiet PSU but fan is noisy

lovely unit, no RFI, but even with a 1.8A load from FT991a on RX the fan cuts in for a few minutes every 10-15 minutes, and as others have noted the fan is quite noisy
looking to see if I can add a quiet fan on the outside at the back to keep a steady airflow through the PSU to reduce the frequency of fan coming on
it would be good to have a temperature sensitive fan that runs at low RPM most of the time and increasing speed when the PSU is under load to reduce the noise, as my shack is in the back corner of my home office

Purchased this to power my FT-710 and FTM-500
Works as advertised and expected. My only niggles is the cooling fan is a bit on the noisy side and the screw terminal caps cannot be removed to allow the use of ring crimp terminals on the radios supply cables.
