Poor man's copy of Diamond

This antenna looks like a copy of Diamond's NR-770S but the appearance is misleading. The most important difference is lack of insulator in the centre where the coil is, which actually makes it a completely different antenna than the original. No surprise that it's very difficult to get decent SWR, even if installed on the roof of my vehicle as recommended. Cheap, but poorly performing, not worth the money.
