Bought 2 of these to go with the hatch mounts (15-010), fitted perfectly into the mounts, pigtail made routing through the tailgate easy, also the PL259 unscrews to leave you with just the centre pin to make it easier to fit through small places, the weatherproof cap for the S0239 is also a nice touch, fitted this last Sunday, went out on Friday and had no VHF/UHF receive or transmit and SWR off the scale, investigated today and the centre conductor had no continuity, had to remove screw cover on base of SO239 and resolder the centre conductor, so the cable kit only lasted a week before it failed and needed repair (The car or radio was not used in the week either), now works perfectly, I also noticed that the 1.5:1 SWR is now 1.1:1 so all good, I can only assume that shock of the tailgate opening and closing must have caused what was a weak solder joint to fail as it worked perfectly for 1×10 min test QSO last Sunday after fitting and wasn't used again until the Friday when it didn’t work, but still recommended as most of us are capable of re-soldering a cable and the 2nd one still works.
