I'm in a valley and have this at 4m. First contacts were on 2m 46km away over the hill, and I've been able to work a 70cm repeater 92km away over the other side on 20W. It picks up PMR nets in Manchester 50km away across the hills. SWR is good, 1.2 or better on the rated bands. Up at PMR446 the SWR is 2.5, so don't be transmitting there...
Mounting is nice and firm, and the connector well protected from rain, but I'm not a fan of the threaded radial rods. I think it's stainless into aluminium alloy so if they corrode together I would have preferred to be able to get a spanner on to remove them. So, yeah, vasaline on the rod before screwing it in the bottom, but otherwise a great twig.

Put this on top a 10m telescopic mast on the side of my house and getting good contacts on both 2m and 70cm with just 5w. SWR 1.01 on both bands at near calling frequency. Seems well made, should last some time.

Great antenna

This is the first proper antenna I have brought for my apartment after using a mag mount on my window sill for since I passed my foundation licence. It was easy to install in my loft and has improved my range from 14 to 40 miles with good audio reports. I am very impressed.

Good Quality and Better Value than some other makes

I bought these for use in the loft, where I wanted maximum gain in a relatively short antenna. They do the job, and I am impressed with the material quality.
