The 2008 is a high performance model, and has a low radiation angle for excellent DX working. Built to very high standards and rated at 1kw continuous power, the 2008 will give years of service, and is great value for money.
This antenna is part of the Sirio Series 2000 antenna range. This antenna, the Serio 2016 CB antenna, is the 8 radial version.

Always trusted moonraker with antennas , amps . Put the money on the table and they will get whatever radio gear to you rapid.
I had an 827 which was missing grub screws (too many small parts for me) The 827 os slightly thicker bottom section to the 2008 but the 2008 Grounplanes are screw ins like the 2016 , but roughly same size as 827 groundplanes. The added bonus is that the coil om the 2008 is protected by a transparent heavy duty plexiglass.
Sirio 2008 all day long for a heavy duty well built antenna that has good ears and talks good too.

A great antenna which when installed on a proper mast gives great results both on emission and reception. Excellent DX capabilities also and very tu able. The 8 rods are pretty long though but very easy to build with good instructions. It is also very resistant to strong winds!
