I use this on my uniden sds200, it's a beast of an aerial considering how small it is. I live in a built up area and pull signals from some distance away.

CX440, comes ready assembled complete with mounting bracket, looks like a red bull can with a straw sticking out of the top, great for PMR,mounted in a loft, g clamp straight onto the joist (yee-ha), make hole with screwdriver through floor/ceiling, drop the cable down, jobs a goodun, using a 5 watt handheld, Yaesu FT65, easily making contacts at 15 miles, clear audio both ways. I didn't skrimp on the co ax, i bought CS PREMIUM 213 10M PL259 TO N MALE PATCH LEAD, code number 16-823. Very happy with purchase.

Fantastic antenna for the uhf segment covered

Wanted a UHF antenna to match my Whistler TRX-1 scanner. The antenna pulls in signals around 453mhz that allows DMR signals within this part of the band to be resolved - DMR signals need to be strong and clean for DMR capable receivers to successfully process. This antenna increased the number of users I could hear by at least 75%.
Also allowed reception of signals just outside the stated frequencies, (30 mhz lower) meaning I was listening to a wider range of users I wasn't expecting. Highly recommended, well constructed and affordable.
