5/8 GAIN MASTER MK2
Review by

Brought to replace a GP27 halfwave it’s been up over a year now survived some big storms not overly high @5m but performance is great it covers 3 bands 12/11/10m and I don’t touch the tuner on my FT710, 12m 1-4-1 11m 1-1-1 across the entire band 10m 1-1-1 to the FM section fantastic job.
It will work on 4/6m with the aid of the built in tuner.
I feed with RG213 and a 1:1 choke no issues with water ingress or noise levels it’s not cheap but seems to work very well. M7CVK

Sirio Gain-Master 5/8 Wave (New Upgrade Version)

Recently replaced a rather bent and crooked 1/2 wave Venom antenna, which was still working well but looked past its best, after a small issue with delivery I received the antenna unfortunately the package was damaged and broken open. I checked the contents and nothing was found to be missing.
The antenna was assembled and the joints covered sealed Its now been placed at 5m on a heavy steel mast I have added a ground to the mast and a 1m ground rod. SWR across 12-11-10m bands was very low and required no further tuning or adjustments out of the box. Skip conditions were up and down but managed Canada South America across Europe So happy so far as cross reference against my 3 element Sirio it’s show a very impressive results so far.

Great antenna
Review by

A great antenna no messing around just put it up the base of mine is at 18 feet in the clear and works great swr on 12m is 1.3.1 on 11m it's 1.0.1 and on 10m it's 1.0.1 up to 29.500 where it's 1.7.1 that's still fine, just worked bob in the Falklands on 12m and 10m with 10watts so it works great. Did put the second section of the ant 2 inches further down in the first section for a bit more strength and moved the other 2 sections up a inch to compensate and put amalgamated tape over all the joints been up 2 years in very strong winds no problem a great ant worth the money especially if your a ham.
