Delivery was very quick and once I had it out of the box took around 30mins to get it in the air.
I’m quite impressed by the quality of the fixings and the coverage.
12m was flat swr, around 1.3, 10m was sitting at around 1.5 so no ATU required.
I coupled this antenna to my CRT SS-8900 and they both worked perfectly well together.

Another great antenna from Sirio. Purchased this for 10 meters. It’s well built and should last a while considering the low price I paid. It also tunes up well on 20 meters. A well made Silver Rod is how I would describe it. Setup was a breeze, but make sure you seal all the joints and connections with self amalgamating tape. Highly recommended.

Easy to set up, low SWR, high quality build, no radials to worry about. Performance as good in reality as any other vertical. Low cost, get one and work great DX as good as any other vertical antenna on 10/11m. Thanks Sirio.

I started in CB in 1957. Over the years I have had many different antennas. I can say that this Sirio GPS 1/2 wave made in Italy is the best performing CB antenna I have ever owned. Great SWR, have 1:1 and performs excellent in rain and snow. Very well made and tough. Much better receive and transmit performance. First day from my base in Idaho, USA using stock Cobra 29 I worked Hawaii, Arkansas, Florida, California, Mississippi and Texas. Can't ask for anything better. Use Sirio antennas for excellent skip. I had problems with the antenna at first but after some top advice from Aidie at Moonraker I sorted the problem of water ingress to the PL259/coax. Basically water drips down the antenna and gets in the inside of the sections via the joins between the different sections. All you need to do is wrap waterproof tape (I used self amalgamating tape) around each joint and again around the PL259. I intended initially to get back into CB but ended up completing my Foundation exam and becoming a licensed amateur. I therefore took the antenna down and shortened the very last/top element as per Sirios instructions and bingo perfect 1.1 to 1.5 SWR on 10 metres. I've had quite a few contacts on 10 metres, tonight I tried and succeeded in tuning it with my old manual MFJ ATU and got it to work on 20 metres/14mhz. Certainly on receive it was better than my end fed half wave, I tried it on transmit and without trying too hard had 2 contacts in Russia and another in Bosnia. All this on 10 watts!
