Bought to replace the ‘stock’ antenna on my Icom IC-R30 for civil & military airband reception. There is a definite improvement over the original antenna on the 108-136MHz. I can’t tell you by using science or technical instruments to measure dumbbells and gains and stuff like clever folk can. Happily my own test equipment (ears) know the signal is stronger and that is all that matters. Thank you Moonraker.
