I use these most often to connect to an aerial coax tail which has been directly connected to the elements. Having a join close to the aerial is useful for testing or if the aerial needs to be removed. These are a no nonsense product but need to be weather protected for outside joins.

These adaptors are well made and good quality, a lifesaver when your cable is too short, fit a PL-259 plug ont the end of the cales and join them together, perfect :).
