Use as link-spacers on home brew link dipoles

These Spider Insulator are great as spacers for link dipoles for SOTA and /P operation. The aerial wire on each side of the insulator can be passed through the centre hole (which can be drilled out slightly if the wire is too large). Then wrapped around the centre and terminated with gold plated pins and sockets as used by the radio modelling fraternity (available on eBay). The whole link assembly and pins can then be protected and strengthened with shrink sleeving for your link dipole. Picture shows one of the Spiderbeam links on a 6m/10m dipole I made up yesterday. I have them built for 20/30/40m and 20/30/30/60m bands.
