I bought this on offer at £29 so couldn't resist as my other antenna had just packed in after 30 years and i bought that second hand then.This is installed quite low on a ground mounted pole, intended just for use in the summer house.
Easy to put and and worked as expected, no radials but there was the option to screw some in, i did try but made no difference.
I intend to spray this matt back, being bright white it stands out against the trees, i would have bothered if it was on the house.

Wasn't sure how well this would work without radials but no issues in that respect. Make sure the hex grub screw is tight otherwise the connector will rotate when the coax plug is screwed on. As others have commented the mast clamp is not ideal for smaller diameter poles but other than that it's an excellent antenna. Fast order processing and delivery.

Bought this at a rally I fixed it onto a aluminium pole as said above clamps dont go down very small I had to use large nuts underneath the supllied ones. Apart for that a good antenna.

I bought a couple of these; one for use at work and one for installation for my son as he lives in a conservation area. The antenna is well-made, performs well on 2 and 70 and is pretty straightforward to install. The only minor niggle would be that the mast clamps won't adjust down as small as a "standard" TV pole but just require a bit of fettling to sort it out. All in all a very good little antenna at a superb price!

Good VFM for the "short of arm - deep of pocket" so will also please the XYL. Being Radial less it must be attached to a metal mast or similar, however that being said it works well from my QTH which is part way up a steep hill on the sides of a deep bowl on the side of Dartmoor.
