Thanks Ade for all your help with the purchase. I’ve only had The Tecsun X-501H a week but already it sits with pride among my collection of old and some not so old SW & Multi-Band radios. I’m still on a learning curve with it but so far it has been a dream of a machine along with its build quality, is the rich sound quality that really comes into its own when you use the micro SD that is proved with the unit. I added a few Good quality recordings from my PC via a card docking unit and this is where you start to understand its true sound quality. Personally I have nothing but total admiration for the radio. For an old guy I find the screen really easy to see and understand, the switch's and knobs are the perfect size to use all done without the needing to put my glasses on! And then there’s the nice touches like a full size wall map and a beautiful carrying case to give it that little bit of protection, so bottom line I love it.
