Watch your fingers!

When placing this mount on your vehicle, watch your fingers! The magnets are incredibly strong, I have confidence driving with a heavy 2m super gainer style antenna. Careful you dont hit trees etc as it might peel your roof off like a sardine tin before the magnets give.

Not an awful lot to say really … good value triple mag fixing with protective rubber boots to help prevent paint/body damage. I only use it static with a larger HF antenna but I suspect it could easily be used with confidence mobile with shorter whips.

Strong++ magnets

Impressed with how well this holds itself on to a car roof. Well constructed with silicone boots / covers for each magnet so as to not scratch the car.
Got a Diamond SG7900 on this mount. VSWR below 1.2 on 2m and 70cm suggesting decent connections and good coax.
Only thing I'd improve is making the silicone boots either tighter (so they don't slip off as easily when mount isn't on the car) or adhering them to the magnets. Easily fixed with some silicone sealant.

Tri-Mag Base Moonraker

I've used moonraker lots of times now. Even indirectly I've ordered from likes of nevada who have went to moonraker. Moonraker are top sellers and always have the gear you need. Wouldn't go anywhere else now.
Mag Base is OK for the Sirio 4000 I got this due to the Sirio PL245 grounding issue which I thought they would've fixed by now. I've yet to try the Tri-Mag above 60mph so don't know if it will take the Sirio 4000.
All in all I highly recommend moonraker for product range, availability and delivery.
