Customer Reviews
It stated "8 channels" but it had the new 16 channels.
Bought really to assist with CTCSS ID (73 codes)in different radios and to check out the extra DCS (203vodes)
The 16 channels mean this radio has been updated by Moonraker to include all 16 current PMR frequencies permitted for UK & Europe use (446.00625 to 446.19375 MHz FM). Very pleasantly surprised. I receives well both wider older radio FM and newer narrower FM deviation setting so works well with all radios.
I might buy a few more of these in future for some PMR 446 projects planned.
Future models could include maybe 256 memories plus for blocks of 16 channels with different ctcss or dcs settings for different groups.
Also maybe a "voice announcer " for visually impaired people (like the Midland G18 Pro which Iay purchase in the future but only has 99 memories and cannot receive some older wider deviation FM PMR 446).
Will still buy more TTi TX-100U radios in future - from Moonraker (as theirs are the 16 frequency radios).
