A quirky concept!

Companion with the N-7500 transceiver (believe replacement N-7600 soon), main transceiver mounted in spare tyre well with RJ45 extension to the dashboard. This "wierd" hand-held transceiver lookalike certainly does a good job of remote control over Bluetooth, and has a display that is usable. Using the remote PTT button strapped to the gearstick allows a hands free use of the setup. Use the HT app on Android for setup and a mobile phone for in-the-field alterations. And a kiis TNC to boot - excellent, it also works with classic and BLE Bluetooth!! Another weird concept from China; the N-7600 with its display microphone looks like a better idea. Ideal for small cars with minimal dashboard space. No intermod issues with a dual bandpass filter on the antenna input! Richard G8ITB

Packed with features this makes an invaluable asset to the Vero radios, very versatile and nice build quality. If you buy a Vero radio be sure to get this to compliment the radio. Compass and ASL readout on the screen are a great feature when using it mobile. There are also groups online devoted to this setup which you will find very useful and interesting.

Great novel approach to VHF / UHF mobile radio!
Really easy to use, good, loud audio and no wires trailing from the main unit mounted in the boot.
Combined with the main unit, the mobile phone a perfect setup - and intuitive. Tried the simple remote hand mic first but decided to do the job properly. More expensive but well worth it. Great piece of kit.
