I have the ladder line end of the W3EDP hung up a tree in the back garden with the copper wire over the roof of the house and tied off at the gutter at the front, so it’s not particularly high. The internal ATU on my Kenwood TS-590s tunes the W3EDP without problems from 80m right through to 10m once I connected a 20m counterpoise wire to the balun.
I am making QSOs all over Europe and into Russia and Ukraine on 50w with good reports so very happy and it is practically invisible to the neighbours.
