I waited for these to come back into stock as being a new but not yet unlicensed user I could learn how to use the radio. The manual is very good and the parts and accessories that come with pack are most useful. I know I could have just brought the radio on its own but having the choice of buying with everything you will need it was a no-brainer. The radio is very easy to program using Wouxuns software or Chirp or straight on the keyboard. The pack itself comes in a nice case which holds everything you need. Listening to other amateur radio users is a breeze with this radio and using the airband is so simple. I recommend this pack if you want a lot of gear and radio all in a nice case.
