The baseband I/Q output allows the G90 to interface with external devices like a PC or the Xiegu optional panadapter.

This is easily the best bang-for-buck radio in amateur radio. It’s a brilliant little unit, and nothing else near this size and price comes with a built-in ATU. I grabbed one when they first came out and I’ve used it a ton. Don’t let the low price fool you — the performance is solid

The best xiegu on the market and certainly the most reliable, it's a solidly built radio with great receive and a bright screen with a waterfall and a built antenna analyzer/tuner.
The radio puts out 20w which is the highest in a qrp radio so there is no need to lug around extras like a tuner and an amplifier.
My only criticism is the screen being only 1.8in in size can be a little on the small size especially if your over 40 lol, however if you are just starting in amateur radio or your wanting a portable radio then the g90 is an excellent choice.

I can't believe what good value this transceiver is.

I bought this as my first ever HF rig as a newly licensed Ham who’s only used a HT with the local repeater before today.
Within an hour of unpacking, plugging everything in, and a few quick reads of the manual - I was up and running and listening to perfectly clear SSB transmissions on the 20m from hundreds of miles away! Within another half hour of plucking up the courage to not be mic-shy I’d also successfully made my first QSO!

Great radio, easy to use and fantastic results, and so much cheaper than the competition!

Really useful piece of kit well laid. Out all knobs and. Buttons have a positive feel ideal little mobile with the internal. Aerial tuner tunes up most aerials both mobile or. End fed and dipole. Had a lot of fun with this little radio.

This is a great HF SDR Radio, I have joined a hugh community of users who love this good priced, well built radio. One of the best facilities is to have an onboard ATU and SWR Scope, which is really useful. I thoroughly recommend this radio and especially recommend a purchase via Moonraker due to the great competitive price.

Excellent build quality and the auto tuner is the best I've come across which also has a built in antenna analyzer.
Audio reports are very good and the speaker in the radio is better than both the ft857D and the ft891! My only single complaint is the screen is very small which I can't read even with my glasses on so if your close up eyesight can see a flea on a cat's back at 100 yards this is the radio for you.
Seriously good rig for all level of hams especially portable.

Small, compact and robust

I like the Xeigu G90 a lot. It has all the features I need from an HF transceiver, and more. It is light weight at 1.7kg, (a bit lighter than the RCA AR88 I once had). Making it very suitable for portable operation. The display may be small, but is very clear and readable. Tx power is moderate at 20W. Reception is clear and crisp. The built in ATU and SWR meter work well with my setup. The AE consists of a 20m EFHW fed from a 49:1 UnUn. Have made good HF contacts with good RST reports on 40m and 20m SSB.
The inbuilt speaker is adequate, but for more comfortable listening I use a Sony ear piece or powered speakers attached to the headphone socket. Very happy with this product.

Small but mighty

Purchased B grade. Smaller than I imagined but feels solid. Tiny display but works well. Have had contacts on 10m, 12m, 15m and 17m all with an 11m dipole. ATU works well. Handheld microphone was not functioning but replaced by Moonraker without fuss. Would highly recommend

This little radio is a gem, very well made and performs brilliantly out of the box. One thing I would mention is that it is the later model with the vents and a new black & red power socket on the back, which was a nice surprise (not showing in the sales pics). There is a lot of depth to this machine and it will take a some time in plumbing it, but I will enjoy the dive! Thanks
