This monoband mobile antenna makes HF mobiling fun and easy! They are lightweight, efficient, and super easy-to-use

Centre loading coil lets you radiate efficiently so can get more power out for working DX

The antenna is well constructed with a heavy duty 3/8 inch diameter fiberglass rod, a nearly indestructible 17-7PH stainless steel whip and chrome plated brass fittings will give you years of dependable service

Its sleek, low profile construction has low wind loading and its semirigid fiberglass eliminates the need for springs or guys

A black anti-static jackets protects the loading coil and blends in with any vehicle

The stainless steel whip is adjustable for lowest SWR

The 3/8-24 threaded base and whip make it fast and easy to remove from the car and can be left set ready to go

The Ampro range (especially the higher frequency models) are simply excellent when out mobile. Easy to deploy, and very well priced. I really enjoy working portable, so putting these in the boot is so simple and when combined with the Moonraker heavy duty magnetic base they are amazing.

As far as Antenna quality goes, I would rate this one as top notch. Build quality speaks for itself, and the materials are not cheap or easy break. To use, Ampro antennas are easy, combined with the bigger Mag Mounts.

I bought a selection of these to get me going on POTA, all of them are amazing, took some advice and grounded my triple mag mount to the car frame and the results were amazing, SWR of 1.1 to 1.3, very pleased with the results and so much easier to use than my previous adjustable multiband antenna, I just simply fit the antenna for the band I want to use and off I go, no messing around, changed in seconds, these antennas are one of the best investments i have made.

Very well made and compact. Ideal way of getting on 6m. Nornal 3/8" thread fits a decent amount. Easy to install and tune. Also ideal for a dipole configurstion using two whips. These are shorter than their hf counterparts.
